Where Do You Stand?

In response to the growing concerns heard throughout Pinellas county around the new state legislation that threatens Critical Race Theory, African American History, and African American literature, the PCDBC will host a Community Conversation with School Board Member Caprice Edmonds as a resource to parents, educators, and concerned residents. This event will be held as a hybrid discussion to understand the concerns of the community further, explore obstacles faced by local legislators, provide resources to parents, and discuss strategies for supporting youth in a changing culture. Members of the PCDBC and residents in Pinellas County are invited to engage with School Board Member, Caprice Edmond, and learn about how to engage around this critical topic actively.

This event will be held in person at the PCDP Headquarters at 2250 1st Avenue North St. Petersburg, FL 33713.

The event will also be live-streamed via Facebook live and questions will be taken via chat at: https://www.facebook.com/PCDBC
